I capture your story in a way that uses environmental light, sharpness, blur, over and under exposure, double exposure, whatever, to catch not only the people and events in your story but in a way that tells who they are and what was going on.

I have 15 years of commercial/advertising photography and design plus 10 years of web development experience so I know how to shoot a perfectly exposed, tack sharp picture. For events, those types of pictures tend to look posed and displaced. I use a Canon S90 compact camera with some flash adaptations that allow me completely control the exposure and get the story with people sometimes not even being aware they were photographed.

What I am selling is my vision and the skills to really tell your story in a creative, light and unobtrusive style. For large concerts, weddings, parties, hire a qualified photographer in that field to get the "stock" photographs of the important people and events in a clean, sharp and well lit style. I will be blending in to catch the emotional side and the "stories" that make the event memorable. Sometimes in striking but always in natural ways.

I believe I have achieved this style and the best way for you to decide is to view the pictures presented in this my online portfolio. If you would like to discuss your project with me, feel free to call me after 11am or send an email. I will respond to all requests.

andrew mann
